Food Tasting Festival

Our Inquiry this term is Fuelled for Life and we have been learning about healthy eating. Room 2 has been learning about why fruits and vegetables are healthy for us.

We had our school's Food Tasting Festival last night and Room 2 made smoothies for people to taste.
We decided in our vitamin/mineral groups what we wanted to put in our smoothies.

The Vitamin A group made smoothies that had a lot of vitamin A with carrots and mangos.
The Vitamin B1 group made smoothies that had a lot of vitamin B1 with broccoli, orange and pomegranates.
The Vitamin C group made smoothies that had a lot of vitamin C with strawberries and kiwifruit.
The Calcium group made smoothies that had a lot of calcium with kiwifruit and oranges.
