Term 3 - Ako Sharing Evening

Our Inquiry this term is Recreation and Entertainment and we have been learning about hobbies and interests. Room 2 has been learning about different kinds of indoor hobbies and why people do hobbies. We got to try different hobbies we didn't know about and practice and get better at our hobbies.

Tonight we had our Ako Sharing Evening where we got to share our learning for this term.

We made display boards that had photos of us doing our hobbies during hobby time and our writing that we did about our hobbies. These were displayed on the tables for visitors to see and it had our final products as well.

Room 2 did a fantastic job showing around our visitors at the Ako evening!
Special Mention: Sarah, I'olani and Lolita who did so well talking about their learning and being confident to show not only their parents but other visitors around the classroom.

Here is a video of Lolita and Sarah being amazing presenters!

Thank you to all the visitors who came to visit Room 2. We enjoyed sharing our learning with you!
